Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (referred to as the “Agreement”) establish the agreement between Techie Installation Services Ltd (referred to as the “Service Provider”) and the client (referred to as the “Client”) upon acceptance of a service quote provided by the Service Provider.
1. Scope of Work
1.1 The Client agrees to the work described and quoted in the provided estimate or quotation.
1.2 Any additional work, labor, or parts required beyond the original quote will be considered extra and may incur additional charges.
1.3 The Service Provider will inform the Client of any additional work, labor, or parts required before proceeding.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 The Client agrees to make payment for services rendered by the Service Provider, whether agreed upon in writing or verbally.
2.2 Payment should be made by card or bank transfer on the day the job is completed, unless alternative payment terms have been explicitly stated and agreed upon in writing.
2.3 A call-out fee of £75.00 + VAT applies to all call-outs. This fee covers up to one hour on-site, with additional time and work charged accordingly.
2.4 If payment is not made on time, a late fee of £10.00 + VAT per week will be added to overdue invoices. The Service Provider also reserves the right to charge interest, suspend further services, or take legal action to recover outstanding amounts.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 The Service Provider retains all rights, title, and interest in any intellectual property created or used while providing the services.
3.2 The Client agrees not to reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any intellectual property of the Service Provider without prior written consent.
4. Liability and Indemnification
4.1 The Service Provider will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the services; however, the Client acknowledges that certain factors may affect the success or outcome of the work.
4.2 The Service Provider will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the services, unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
4.3 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Service Provider harmless from any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses related to the provided services.
5. Confidentiality
5.1 Both parties agree to treat all confidential information shared during the engagement as strictly confidential and not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent.
6. Right to Repossess Property
6.1 The Service Provider retains ownership of any items provided by them until full payment is made by the Client. As such, in the event of non-payment or delayed payment for a period of 30 days, the Service Provider reserves the right to repossess the said items.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the UK.
7.2 Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the UK.
By accepting the quote or engaging the Service Provider’s services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
